Tunisia Protesters Call For Change
TUNISIA: Other demonstrations were held in Tunisia in the midst of allegations of police brutality to the allies of the ousted president.
Police fired tear gas at stone-throwing protesters during a demonstration against government outside the offices of Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi in Tunis.
Hundreds of demonstrators spent the night camped outside the building Ghannouchi calls to resign after the removal of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, 14 January.
It comes after two high-ranking officials were reported to have been placed under house arrest.
And the head of a private television station known is said to have been arrested for trying to reduce the speed to move the country toward democracy.
new state reported that Nasri Larbi, president of a television station, was arrested with his son on charges of treason and conspiracy against state security.
He also reported that a former adviser to Ali Abdallah Ben Abdelaziz Ben Dhia Kallela and is placed under house arrest, with police looking for third man, Abdelwaheb Abdallah.
The crowds gather every day in the capital Tunis, look set to take over the scalp as the interim government before elections due within six months.
